de maandag is bij de meeste mensen niet favoriet. gelukkig heb ik er zelf geen moeite mee. ik vind het heerlijk om een nieuwe week te beginnen waarin ik eindelijk aan de slag kan gaan met alle ideeën die ik in het weekend had. voor degene die er wel degelijk moeite mee heeft en voor wie een zetje in de goede richting nodig heeft, heb ik twee motiverende wallpapers gemaakt. hier onder te downloaden. maak er een mooie week van!

THIS WEEK

2014 is nearly over and january 1 is fast approaching. this year seems to have gone by so fast! as one year ends and another begins i like to look back at the goals i set at the start of the year. most of the goals have been met, some of them almost. looking back it has been a great year both personal and professional.

this time of year is always a busy one at work. while the end of 2014 is approaching everyone needs to get their last things done before the holidays.

last weekend we've had another 'building dinner'. time to relax, eat, drink and catch up. many of us are business owners. and because of this and the majority of the group working in the music- & entertainment industry we often [tend to] work on weekends. this makes it quite challenging to set a dinner date regularly, but makes it more special everytime we do get together. have a great weekend!

LIKES AND NEEDS

a few years ago i called a halt to my shopping. i didn't like how much money and time i was spending on shopping for clothes?! cleaned out my closet. organized my wardrobe and realized i really did have everything i need. there was nothing missing, except for the perfect lbd [little black dress] which i still haven't found, but than again till this day don't miss. and so i decided no more shopping clothes and accessories for six months!

fall has officially begun and it has been raining almost every day of the week. to make up for these grey days i made sure to get some color into the house.

after this weekend i'm starting on my fourth week of running. i'm training according a schedule to slowly improve my stamina. i'm really enjoying it and it's even turned out to be something i'm looking forward to. the goal at the moment is to be able to run thirty minutes non-stop. i know this isn't much but trust me, for me it's a great start. hope you have a great weekend!

fall is for knits. and because i don't like wearing jackets that much, a cardigan is a great alternative. with chilly mornings, sunny afternoons and evenings cooling down faster, this oversized cardigan comes in handy. paired with a little shimmer and cool kicks, this is one comfy outfit.

my seven year old niece is staying with us over the weekend. this has become an annual sleepover which we are always looking forward to.

finally the long summer break ended this week. my clients are all back at work again and things are slowly getting back to their normal ways.

well hello sunshine! july is starting of great. temperatures are rising and it's finally time for our legs to get some well deserved vitamin d (but don't forget your sunscreen).

{on may fifth we celebrate 'liberation day'}

may always is a month full of different celebrations, holidays and lotsss of days off. this second sunday of may we celebrate mother's day. remember the day's when you were in kindergarden?

a productive week. finally! last week i was feeling quite sick, not allowing me to get things done that needed i wanted to be done. i'm on track now and yesterday i treated myself with a night out, a few beers and a little dance. sometimes that's just all you need ;) enjoy the weekend!

these first sunbeams after winter. longer days and warmer temperatures. the blooming blossoms that seem to catch everyones attention (check your instagram feed). spring just puts a smile on your face. how i love this time of year! enjoy this easter weekend.

this week was filled with work [no complaints here]. still had time to spend some quality time with both our families [always good]. got my hands on this dress and blouse from the h&m conscious exclusive collection [can't wait for them to be delivered].

my fiancé and i had a conversation about the difference between male and female. in particular about being practical. i think we women are quick to get emotionally involved in just about everything, while most men don't and thus can see things more clear. men just handle with things because they need to be handled. plain and simple.
